The Courtyard at Gaslight Square was filled with mango margaritas, mojitos, delicious food, tropical decorations, and beautiful flower arrangements on August 27th for The One Bride Guide Kick-off Party. With over 150 guests to celebrate the accomplishments of McLeod Creative and The One Bride Guide it was truly an evening to remember. We would like to acknowledge everyone who was contributed to the Kick-off and send out our gratitude for making it such a great event!

Now that the party is over we are well on our way to finalizing the second issue of The One, to  debut on October 1st.

On August 6th, 2008, McLeod Creative was the recipient of the Outstanding Downtown Business at The Spirit of Business Awards to honor small businesses, small business owners, business advocates, and corporate citizens involved in the efforts of building prosperity to the Coastal Bend’s economy.  We truly feel that Downtown is the place to be and will continue to prosper in the future.  Through our ventures with McLeod Creative, PATCH, and now The One Bride Guide, we hope to revive Downtown and provide excellent service for many years to come.  "This is for Downtown!"

The One Bride Guide was a huge success at the Wedding Fair, held on July 27,2008 at the American Bank Center. There were so many people interested and impressed by the magazine, it was given great reviews all day! Future brides came up to us  and let us know how helpful The One was and many people already had a copy! It was a great opportunity to network with different vendors in the Bridal industry and also be able to hand the magazine out to so many people. Everyone is looking forward to the next issue! 

The Champagne bottles popped as we toasted to a great year for our one year anniversary lunch at Katz 21 on June 27, 2008.

We had a lot to celebrate! It was our one year anniversary for being in the new office, both Sergio & Ashley celebrated their one year anniversary of being part of McLeod Creative,  the premiere issue of The One Bride Guide was complete, AND we had landed our first international client! It has been a wonderful year and we all look forward to the next one being even better!

The Mary McLeod Bethune Day Nursery is a 66 year old company which provides child care services for both low-income families and homeless children. Bethune offer's a four star program which has established many first's in the Coastal Bend, such as, first early child development locally, first food program for children, and first integrated child care center for the area. McLeod Creative was hired on the basis of creating a website that would increase enrollment and enhance the visability and awaness of the nursury. Private Group Wealth Management out of Corpus Christi hired McLeod Creative to design a on-going brochure that would be of benefit to readers providing investment insight and management of financial risks & complexities.
